Spine Apple
a cross country tradition in which an apple is peirced with hundreds of toothpicks. you then throw the spiny fruit to your teammates until everyone has caught it. you finally go to the ice machines on all the floors of your hotel and fill your bath tub with ice and place the spine apple in the tub the night before your race and you can’t ever do bad. done only on traveling meets.
