to spowart is to renege on a deal usually with a friend, using trust to keep stringing along the person owed, with no intent to ever pay up a cent, yet keep the goods.
spowarting is being wishy-washy, full of lame excuses while abusing trust of a friend or a colleague to benefit off of them .
my neighbor mike tried to spowart me on my lawnmower deal but i took it back after he hadn’t payed me for over a month. his excuses were so transparent even his 5 year old daughter knew he was lying about why he never had the cash for it. i think he never intended to pay me. how pathetic to try to spowart a friend and neighbor. i can’t trust him again after spowarting.
