sstv: slow-scan television
i’is a forme to send images, using a voice-channel band widths, sstv tansmissions may be used in any bands
(10,20,40,80 m.,etc) except 160 meters. the amateur in the sp-rs-ley populated area can exchage pictures with “the fellows in the big city, the next state, or even with fellows in other countries”.

a tape recording of sstv signals can be made with an old ordinary audio tape recorder runningat 3 3/4 inches per second.
