Starscream Syndrome
starscream is the treacherous decepticon from the 1985 cartoon series known as transformers. he is screechy, rude, mean, deceptive, cowardly, and is always attempting to overthrow his leader, megatron. despite this, he has garnered many, many fangirls, almost to the point of absurdity.
starscream syndrome is wanting to be with someone (typically fictional, but not always) that is bad for you because you believe you can fix them.
sam: why does jane go out with bill? he’s a complete douche to her.
jill: she has starscream syndrome.
