starter punk
typically a kid in middle school who just listened to the ramones for the first time. starts wearing leather jackets, checkered slip on vans, sungl-sses that he gets in trouble for trying to wear in cl-ss. can also lead into adulthood if the starter punk music never evolves into deeper punk genres (i.e. post punk, pop punk, folk punk, crust punk, etc.)
