Stawkward
(adj.) the phenomenon that occurs whilst scrolling through a persons social media feed, for example facebook, twitter, but most commonly instagram, and you accidentally like or favourite a status or picture that the above person posted a considerable period of time ago.
man #1: “dude, i was scrolling through bridget’s instagram last night and liked her photo from a year ago, and now she refuses to follow me.”
man #2: “well that’s stawkward!”
stawkward: comes from the verb stalking, which means to pursue or approach stealthily, and also the adjective awkward, which means causing or feeling uneasy embarr-ssment or inconvenience.
