a page called “stop the cutting 2014” made on facebook, started by three semmes middle school students to prevent bullying and to stop students from “cutting themselves.” within five days of the page being created, over 400+ people had liked their page and it’s steadily growing. they created the facebook and twitter hashtag #stopcutting2014. the page is making an impact on everyone in semmes middle school and even other schools out of town or state.
