when someone’s telling a story and lies, and then gets called out. the liar then proceeds to backtrack, change the story, and lie some more to fit the new narrative
this guy was telling me the biggest lie, and when i called him out on it, he totally denied it, changed the story too! the story swerving was unreal, i think i got whiplash
