something that you may be labelled as, or know about, strictly because you know someone or are in some other way -ssociated with the subject in question, without actually being affiliated with it yourself. this can refer to practically anything.
i’m a fan of the rovers, yes, but strictly by -ssociation. actually cole is a fan of the rovers. i just sort of tag alone.
