strip stick
a vehicle that is just that a “strip stick”. no luxury bullsh-t here and there just to get you back into the dealer when it breaks. it is a car for driving, you have an engine which moves the car, a gearbox that changes gear and generally has air conditioning but not always.
me (growing up): dad why did you get the grand caravan without the built in dvd player, automatic doors, power windows, full row ac -etc at carmax?
dad: because i know d-mn well you kids and mom are gonna eat and drink in it and it’s going to be used for hauling dogs and sick children to and from the doctor’s office. that’s why i got a strip stick.
