a person, usually a girl (sometimes a boy) student that gets really good grades and has high academic achievement but has barely any social life and has a lack of humor and fun. when they do hang out with friends, they usually hang out with other studyists. common items that studyists have:

abnormally neat handwriting
being a bookworm
love of neatness
potential ocd
love of realistic art
love of cl-ssical music
and of course, obsessed with studying, whether they like it or not.
