it is a rare name and is originally from northern india, in the state punjab. it is derived from sanskrit, and a slang term for sonia. however, it was more common in the part of punjab that is now pakistan. it is very hard to find a girl with this name, but any girl with the name suhina fits this def. i never found one that hasn’t. you should be lucky to be friends with this girl. if you are a guy, good luck, shes a catch.
