when you have been sunburnt countless times because frolic-ing in the sun for days on end has been far more important that protecting the epidermis, usually causing (but not limited to): sun spots, freckles, uneven skin tone, leathery skin, a body that has been treated more like an amus-m-nt park, rather than a temple.
