Superstar Syndrome
a syndrome in which a team is so reliant on their superstars (and the rest of the players suck) that they can win regular season games but cannot withstand a playoff series and ultimately win a championship. this was first developed by the cleveland cavaliers when lebron james reportedly gave up on several different occasions, and the team was never able to win a championship.

when a human being ranging from teenager to adult cannot bear to lose in a sport related activity no matter the level, age, or s-x of the compet-tion.
