a dance involving shuffling along the floor, swinging one’s arms like a muppet while snarling and spouting gibberish. while it looks like a b-st-rdized form of sk-nking, it is in fact an ancient dutch ritual meant to bring luck to the performer. traditionally, the dance was performed as close to the middle of the night as possible, with the partic-p-nts dancing naked in front of a mirror or another highly reflective surface.
