svejk is the main character in a book written by jaroslav hašek named “the good soldier švejk”. svejk is trying to sabotage his superiors’ orders by acting as an imbecile. svejking entered the czech vocabulary as a verb meaning to undermine the system through intentional acts of stupidity.
