swankienda
combination of sw-nky and hacienda. this term was coined in houston texas by maxine mesinger, a writer for the houston chronicle, and chiefly refers to higher-end or unique southern architecture of any era. sw-nkienda is a compliment, not a put-down, and shouldn’t be confused with the term mcmansion.
