a trini (trinidad & tobago, w.i.) colloquialism meaning that someone is a great cook; someone who is talented in the kitchen; someone who makes really tasty food. like someone who’s talented at growing plants is said to have a ‘green thumb,’ a trini who cooks really well is said to have a ‘sweet hand.’
