synthprog is a genre of electronic music that takes its influence from progressive rock and the heavy use of synthesizers or other electronic synthesis instruments.
not to be confused with progressive house, where the use of the word “progressive” in progressive house is the opposite of the use of the word “progressive” in progressive rock.
i listened to some synthprog song by fm, rush, kartmaze, cjeff, and adesyndicate.
