Tapcent


the tapcent is an inglewood band term for the housetop accent in music. it cleverly combines the “tap “ part of miss tapia (the band teacher’s name) and the “cent” part of accent. it was created by josh jay-hayes, a member of the inglewood kight band. the housetop accent meens to play short and loud and that is exactly what miss tapia is.
miss tapia + accent = tapcent!
