Text-Anxiety
when you text someone important and get no reply. often leads to a resending of texts or calls to make sure they received it (along with the danger of looking desperate). can invoke anxiety that you wont ever get a text back.
justin: dude, she hasn’t texted me back yet! maybe i should resend the text to make sure she got it…
ryan: dude, you sound desperate…sounds like you’ve got text-anxiety to me.
justin: shut up!
when you are texting someone and they dont answer creating anxiety of why they arent texting are the mad, did they die, are they being arrested or what is taking them so d-mn long
girl: i hate my mom shes driving me home drunk again
me: are u ok tho is she driving ok
me: h-llo?
me: are u ok?
me: whats going on im coming to look for u if u dont answer
an hour later
girl: i just saw the new girls next door
me: d-mn what took u so long u gave me text anxiety i thought u were dead
