the new generation of cell phone text message communicators. some times known as generation text. a textophile is someone who spends more time text messaging than actualy speaking. a textophile will opt to send a text message in place of a phone call. a textophile will be found texting in the midst of conversations, at in-oppertune moments, socialy unacceptable situations.
