Thankshallowmas
a post-modern holiday created in 2004 by kathy carey of chicago. it combines the best traditions of thanksgiving (meal), halloween (candy, costumes, decorations) and christmas (presents, decorations). thankshallowmas traditionally takes place on the first sat-rday following halloween. it also exempts kathy’s in-laws from any further holiday celebrations with her family, which makes it all worth it.
