Thayer Persuasion Method
a method of persuasion where in an effort to persuade their friends to do something, one repeats their friends name, until the friend gives in a agrees.
brant: hey garth are you going to panda express for lunch?
garth: um…..
brant: garth
(waits a second) garth
(waits another second)garth
(waits yet another second) garth…
garth: ok, i will go
brant: yes!! the thayer persuasion method works again!
