the clintonian fallacy, so called because of former president clinton’s infamous line, “it depends upon what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is”, is when someone you are debating tries to derail an argument by squabbling over the well known, and traditionally accepted, definitions and meanings of words and or ideas.
you: racism is the belief that one race is superior to another.
sjw: no!!! racism is…white patriarchy!!!…even when you are not being racist you are being racist!!! even when you don’t know it!!! your very existence is racist!!!! you, by not judging someone by the color of their skin is also an act of racism, and absolute proof of white privilege!!!!
