The Filby Effect
the filby effect is where a person/persons revise for exams intesnsely with a large magnitude of time prior to the examination. this early start and volume of revision causes poor exam reaults due to excess preparation.
symptoms include: loss of social life before exams and an excesive preference for work during the academic year.
person 1: i just spent the last 3 weeks revising for this test today.
person 2: really?! unlucky, you’ll be subject to the filby effect my friend – i started last night.
