The GTs
the “gts” is a severe case of delirum tremens or “dts”. it is an advanced and possibly fatal stage of alcohol withdrawal.
mike: “christ! cathy, bring some alcohol for martin, quick!”
cathy: “why’s that?”
mike: “he’s got the gts!”
martin: “w..what’s the gts, mike?”
mike: “it’s like the dts, only faster!”
