the rest is just paperwork
‘the rest is just paperwork’ is a phrase that gained popularity in poland in the early ’90s. though many argue over its origins, it’s believed to have stemmed from the cypherpunk movement in poland.
the expression was used as a way to defer questions and finish an uncomfortable discussion with as much ease (and cl-ss) as possible.
“there are a few technical things that must be fixed. the rest is just paperwork.”
