the word means ‘think police’. any other definition is plain stupid. the concept comes from 1984, a book by george orwell written to ill-strate totalitarianism so extreme that even your thoughts are controlled.
the actual word isn’t in 1984 but it derives from ‘interpol’, the international police organisation.
also a band from a uk, but that doesn’t matter.
