Thirst Shy
an insistent desire to see or have contact with another individual, but avoiding contact with the person as to not seem desperate.
example 1:
(guy) “ugh i really wanna see bae after the club tonight, but im thirst shy”
example 2:
(girl) “d-mn! homeboy is so fyne!”
(friend) “gurl, go holla then!”
(girl) “i want to, but he’s gonna think im a ratchet thirsty hoe…”
(friend) “b-tch go talk to him with yo thirst shy -ss…”
