throw it on the ground
to throw something on the ground is a forceful, if petulant and unreasonable, rejection of an offered object or idea. it’s a lot easier to throw a physical object on the ground, but an abstract concept can be figuratively thrown on the ground, as well.
“i was walking through the city streets, and a man walks up to me and hands me the latest energy drink. “run faster, jump higher”, maaaaaan, i’m not gonna let you poison me, i throw it on the ground! you must think i’m a joke! i ain’t gonna be part of this system!”
when you’re too angry and you throw on the ground all sort of things.
