when someone is down and out and appears to be about to commit suicide. the act is often completed by using a long gun pointed at the soon to be departed’s head and using one of their toes to depress the trigger while their hands support the firearm’s intended aiming position.
friend one: joe has been real f-cked up since jill dumped him.

friend two: yeah, it won’t be long and he’ll have his toe on the trigger.
