an action or gesture that characterizes the “top dog” within a group of friends at any given social occasion. often this action or gesture is an unsolicited and non-obvious favor to friends; something that the square community might call a “random act of kindness,” except everyone is usually drunk. or, this act or gesture might simply enhance one’s stature as the coolest or most powerful friend of the group.
