nice to see it’s still used, even if the meaning could be slightly different.

with reference to “b-st-rd” this word is used as an insult. with the meaning of the pot that is used when donaters of sperm use to capture the “donation” hence the off spring being a b-st-rd as they are not informed of who the donater is.
