totes fa’ shotes
poetic and rather elegant slang meaning “totally for sure”. first used by a select group of students (or some may say a select group of goobers) at kents hill school in maine. this phrase expresses absolute certainty, wherease “maybes fa’ shabes” and the like leave some room for doubt.
example:
“ya broski, ben kohen is gettin’ that b&s girl totes fa’ shotes.”
