trading fodder
when a person has something up for trade because they don’t care about it. sometimes trading fodder is purchased/obtained on purpose, because they know that it’s worth a lot. people use trading fodder to get things they want.
this can be applied to anything that can be traded. (pokemon, in-game items, character designs, etc)
“don’t buy my character if you’re only going to use it as trading fodder!”
