Trauma drafting
trauma drafting is when you follow loosely behind an ambulance, fire truck, or other emergency vechicle who’s sirens are on to catch the green lights that they’ve turned in their favor and take advantage of the fact that everyone in front of them has pulled over.
husband: “wow- you made it home in record time!”
wife: “yeah, i was trauma drafting all the way down university ave. i think there’s a fire or something down the street.”
