jet lagging of social trends between a country and another, either due to timezone differences, or otherwise.
ex. 1: #appleevent is trending in egypt, although the event has ended more than 24 hours ago. this is definitely a trend lag.
ex. 2: #oscars2015 is trend-lagged in germany.
