the “trewsdale”, is a mythical creature with the head of a pigeon, body of a ferret and tentacles of an octopus. it was believed the trewsdale would sn-tch ignorant children from their bed’s at night.
to be a “trewsdale” is insulting one’s weight and/or face.
“man, your face is trewsdale. to the extreme!”
“don’t be ignorant billy, or the trewsdale will get you!”
