TRINDTBD
a trindtbd (“there-really-is-no-dress-there” black dress; pr-nounced “trint-bd”) is the typical high school girl version of an lbd (little black dress), which is considered to be a high-fashion staple.
trindtbds are often selected under the false presumption that they are in fact lbds, and therefore make the wearer of the trindtbd feel cl-ssy. however, the trindtbd is much shorter and tighter than the cl-ssic lbd, usually including a low neckline and/or cut-outs.
trindtbds are most commonly found at semi-formal high school dances such as homecoming. they are frequently paired with shoes that have at least a five-inch heel.
jessica purchased her trindtbd for homecoming because she thought it was a nice combination of s-xy and cl-ssy. it wasn’t.
