tropio
slang for a person known for their false embellishment of themselves. a tropio is know for their lofty opinions of their personality, often falsely. stems from the english word ‘trope’ which means ‘a figure of speech often interpolated as an embellishment’.
person a: “tripp would not stop talking about himself last night, man.”
person b: “lately he’s been acting like such a tropio.”
someone who tells on other people to escape punishment themselves.
a. tripp is a tropio because he narced on everyone and will never be able to live it down.
