an organization of rabbis and cantors that promotes civil disobedience, marches and other protests, and uses social media and pet-tions on behalf of what they call “human rights”. they favor every group except jews and israelis.
they have become extremely active since the presidential election of 2016. according to leaders of the group the name t’ruah—one of the sounds of the shofar (ram’s horn)—calls on them to take action to “create a more just world” and to indicate their “belief in the possibility of liberation”. but truah seems to stand for trump resisters united against him.
the group t’ruah is obsessed with fighting everything donald trump does and trying to end his administration.
