Tucson
the second largest city in arizona. population of approximately 700,000. located in pima county. home of the university of arizona, the 46th best university in the nation. also home to pima community college.
often known for its “dry heat” since the humidity rarely p-sses 30%. set in the middle of the sonoran desert, it offers excellent scenery and some nice scenic drives.

a metropolis in arizona which is populated mainly by retirees, students, and people taking the long road to nowhere. general employment is limited to franchise restaurants that pay bare minimum wage. “sites” to see include pharmacies, golf courses and tiny strip malls that were built in the last 10 years. oh yes, there is also some pretty geography, but could be seen in the comfort of your own home – on a postcard.

a city of 500,000 in southern arizona. receives a lot of cr-p from everyone but is actually a really cool city. it’s a place of self-made artists, vibrant colors, great mexican food, racial diversity, liberal culture, sunshine, and a whole lot of down to earth grittiness. sure, it’s f-cking hot all summer- but winters are great, and in spring the desert blooms and is gorgeous. sunsets here are amazing. the mountains are beautiful. the old architecture is fascinating (take a stroll through an old neighborhood to check it out!), and did you know that it has two of the top-rated high schools in the entire country? not a good place for people who want to live in a perfect, clean, crimeless, uneventful, uninteresting piece of sh-t town. also not a place for conservative -ssholes or anyone who hates mexicans. tucson has real culture and real drama and real beauty. i love it here.
i’m moving to tucson, it is the sh-t
a city clearly not meant for many of the ignorant, sheltered people that appear to have given it such a bad rep here.
best mexican food, great camping weather, beautiful hiking trails.
not to mention the fact that it is culturally diverse, giving one the chance to open their eyes to the screwed up reality that we live in (that is to say you make the decision to progress foreward and stop using your parents’ money to get drunk all the time at college parties.)

i’m happy i grew up in tucson.
a place in arizona that serves one purpose; to educate the young people that decide to spend four years in a city 3 degrees cooler than h-ll. of course, wildcat football is heating up!
