the state of being anything but part of the cannes film festival.
1. annoying things that happen in the cinema. not limited to cinema, often used in more general terms to describe something off-putting or distracting.
2. not suited to be part of the cannes film festival.
2. usually referring to activities that would be frowned upon at the festival. for instance: watching dvds, chewing popcorn loudly etc..
commonly misspelt or misinterpreted (by those with little appreciation for those things uncannesy) as uncanny.
