3)a system where 1 or more items can be cl-ssified as 1 unit. unit rules can be put in place to determine what is considered an item/ how the system functions. and a unique name identifier can be used to identify certain aspects of a unit. when items get unitized they become part of a unit
1) my extended family seems unitized because we all get along. 2)the school administrator unitized the students into multiple units based on academic performance & career interest. but the students at the school got a little rebellious and unitized themselves into multiple units based on what they wanted to do outside of school. 3)in a very condensed version: 4 oranges are unitized to a unit named ‘orange you glad 4’, and 420 strawberries were unitized to a unit named ‘strawberry high 420’. if you use numbers in your unit name/label be aware that parts of items can add up as whole items; because it’s possible for fractional numbers to add as a whole number. words/symbols can be a reliable way of labeling/naming units. rules can also be put into place, and unit names/rules may be able to identify/detect info based on quant-ty & quality. anexample of a ‘unit rule’ could be that only a ‘whole’ product will be considered an item, with that rule in place even if you have 50 pieces of 1/2 of a banana they still couldn’t be unitized based on that rule. this is a very,very condensed version of the unitized system that is not proven, but was developed so that you can have the definition for the word unitized. again, this is not a proven system; so please proceed with caution, especially if you decide to make a rule change that would be considered a change to the definition, because chances are that no man/woman has done that before.
