an idealist who imagines a perfect world where everyone is happy and satisfied with what their government decides is best for them, and thus corruption, instead of talent and hard work is rewarded. this regulated, unfree situation usually ends with stagnation, corruption and underground economy because people do not all have the same desires and beliefs.
utopists like the dalai lama think that socialism is fine, until they are no longer satisfied with their -ssigned robe and bowl of rice, and want steak and an iphone.
