acronym for “universal(ly) unique identifier”
originally a computer term: an address to identify and communicate with a single device on the internet. now used as slang contraction for ‘way to reach you directly’.
“send me your uuid” means “send me a way to reach you directly”. the typical response is an email address or phone number.
