a vegie monster hated character on the tv show seasame street. he was made so children could eat more vegies and he replaced the cookie monster. this caused an outrage and little children rebelled against vegetables which backfired their cause for the vegie monster. the vegie monster got fired and little kids all around are still eating cookies and getting fat.
