Voltronian
something which is composed of several components which come together at a critical junction. this harkens back to the character voltron, a single robot composed of several smaller ones. it is crucial that something voltronian is not slow in coming together like a puzzle but rapid and climactic in the fashion of a chemical reaction or a double out in a pro baseball game.
the way in which the separate greek city-states united in the battle of thermopylae was nothing less than voltronian.
