Vote gesturing
when a contestant on a reality show pretend dial and text and hold up the number of fingers that represents which number contestant he/she is in order to convey to the viewing audience who it should vote for to continue on in the show.
after performing his act, the magician began vote gesturing in hopes that the public will keep him on the show.
